Iron pickaxe in Bumki
The iron pickaxe is an iron-tier mining tool in the Adventures mode, available from level 1. It is a direct upgrade to the wooden one: iron-pickaxe mining is sturdier and faster, and crucially it breaks harder rock and veins the wooden tool can never reach. If you are figuring out how to get an iron pickaxe in Bumki, you craft it from iron (first mined as ore) or find it with an NPC.
Why upgrade? The higher the pickaxe tier, the more efficient the mining: more resources in less time and access to rarer materials. Those resources are the fuel of all crafting — they forge weapons, next-tier pickaxes and gear. That is why crafting an iron pickaxe often becomes a turning point — your gathering speeds up sharply.
