An unstable connection, an accidentally closed tab, or a sudden page reload in the middle of a heated round is a familiar pain for every browser-battle player. Previously any such glitch could cost you the win, but Bumki now features reconnection that gives you a second chance to get back into the fight.

How the rejoin window works

If your connection drops or you accidentally reload the page, you have 10 seconds to return. Make it in time and the round continues as if nothing happened: your bomber is still in place, and the bombs and rivals' positions are right where you left them. This matters most during tense endings with meteorites, lava, or a boss, where every second counts.

What happens if you don't make it

If you fail to return within those 10 seconds, a loss is recorded — exactly as if you had left the battle voluntarily. And if just one player remained in the round, they automatically become the winner. The "Leave" button still works as before: a deliberate exit is an exit with a penalty, and reconnection does not cancel it. This way the system fairly distinguishes an accidental drop from intentional fleeing.
