Квесты и сюжет: задания, диалоги, ветки и концовки

In the Bumki RPG mode the path is set not only by the world itself, but also by quests — tasks worth pressing on for. This is no longer a short bomberman round: here there is a story, choice and consequences.
Story and side quests
At the core is a main storyline split into several acts. Alongside it you meet side quests — separate tasks outside the main story. You can follow the plot strictly, or take detours into side affairs.
Dialogues and choice
You can talk to the world's characters. Dialogues often have a choice of replies, and that choice is not cosmetic: it affects the course of the story and its ending. Depending on your decisions, different enemies and different quests may appear in the world — so two playthroughs can differ noticeably.

Types of tasks
Quest goals vary:
- Kill enemies — deal with specific opponents;
- Collect items — find the needed things;
- Reach a place — get to a point on the map;
- Deliver — carry something to a recipient;
- Survive a wave — hold out against incoming enemies.
Rewards and progress
Completion grants experience, gold, items and progress flags — marks that a part of the story is done. It is the flags that unlock new quests. An important detail: the first completion of a quest gives unique rewards, while a repeat gives less. So the first run is especially valuable. The items you earn will be useful further on.
Log, Codex and Bestiary
To keep track, there is a quest log with sections for active and completed tasks. Besides it, the world keeps two reference books:
- Codex — a reference about the world and its characters; entries unlock as you play;
- Bestiary — an enemy reference that also fills up as you encounter foes.
You can see the whole world in the adventures section, and begin the story simply by starting to play. Useful walkthrough tips are in the guides.
