Передвижение: навигатор, маяки, телепорты и маунты — Adventures «Бумки»

The Adventures mode in Bumki is a large seamless world without loading screens at every step: you simply walk in one direction and the map keeps going. So you do not get lost or waste time on extra detours, the game offers several travel helpers — from a simple minimap to riding animals. Let us go through them one by one.

The adventure world in Bumki

Minimap and navigator

A minimap is shown in the corner of the screen — a small overview of the area around your character. Next to it works the navigator: it points the way to the location you are currently tracking. If you lose your bearings, just glance at the arrow and you instantly know which way to go.

Personal waypoints

Any important place can be marked with a personal waypoint — your own note on the map. Place a waypoint and the navigator starts guiding you to it. It is handy for marking a merchant, a dungeon entrance, or a spot you want to return to later.

What is especially nice is that quest objectives become waypoints automatically: when you take a task, the required point appears as a marker, and the navigator immediately shows the direction to it. No need to remember where to go — the game prompts you. Read more about quests and other features of the mode in our guides.

Portals and teleports

You can move not only on foot. The world has two kinds of fast travel:

  • Portals between neighbouring halls — free. Through them you jump from one part of the world to the adjacent one at no cost.
  • Teleports between cities — can be paid. Such a long jump costs gold, and that money goes into the city treasury. So by paying for a teleport you also top up the city coffers.

That makes long journeys part of the world's economy too: we cover cities and zones in detail in a separate article on the Adventures page.

Mounts for speed

If walking takes too long, mounts come to the rescue. They are bought for gold and increase your movement speed. You climb onto a mount with a command, ride faster, and dismount whenever you need to. You can buy a mount in the in-game shop.

Bumki started as an explosive bomberman-with-friends arcade, but the Adventures mode is already a full world that is fun to travel through. Collect waypoints, get yourself a mount, and set off on the road.
